Psychologist-in-Training
As your therapist, I will provide you with a healing connection that makes you feel safe, validated, and supported. Together, we will address your challenges and symptoms with strengths and clarity. I hope to help you develop adaptive worldviews and psychological skills that will serve you long after our therapeutic work concludes.
I adopt a holistic approach to therapy, incorporating elements of existential psychotherapy, music therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and humanistic approaches. What this means is that I aim to create a space that values your free expression, vulnerability, and self-acceptance. My style is energetic, proactive, and direct. I aim to model transparency and authenticity so you can get the most our of therapy and to gain the confidence to life their life without hesitation.
I provide therapy to adults of all ages and have particular experience working with emerging adults.
Outside of my practice, I enjoy reading fiction, creating collages, and watching anime.
I am currently a doctoral student in clinical psychology, am supervised by licensed psychologist Dr. Todd R. Avellar, and provide services via a low-cost “sliding-scale” basis.
